The '05 Explosion were undefeated until the Championship Game, losing an absolute heartbreaker in international innings 1-0 to the '04 Twisters. Down 3-0, Gracie Gray came up with bases loaded and hit a GRAND SLAM shot that went into the trees, estimated at 280ft plus! But the Twisters answered with 2 runs in the bottom of the inning to take the championship 5-4. After 2 playoff innings, the Twisters pulled out the victory 1-0 at 1:00 am.
