Atomic Boom! Congratulations to the 02 Explosion who were crowned the 14u TSFA Southern National Champions in Ringgold, Georgia on 7-9-16! The 02 Explosion beat the Georgia Flames in a late night offensive explosion 10-2 to win the 2016 TSFA Tri-State Southern Nationals going 5-0 in the tournament! The hot summer day can be summed up with one word: Team! Everyone battled for each other with diving catches, hustle, and solid field play to lead a defensive performance that only gave up 6 runs on the entire day. Strong pitching performances by Bailey Myers, Baylee Cox, and Talley Shipley were on full display every game, late into the night. On offense, Devon Weller led the day by batting .875 and connecting with timely hits. The coaches are extremely proud of the effort of every girl that came together, as one Team!
