Boom!  Congratulations to the 99 Explosion who finished a stout 3rd in the Gold Division of the ASA High School Diamond World Series in Spartanburg, SC from 8/7/15-8/9/15!  This tournament was a true test of character and playing ability as a total of 19 teams from Virginia, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Louisiana competed at beautiful Tyger River Park.  The 99 Explosion went into the final day of tournament play undefeated winning their pool, but lost 2 close games 4-1 to the South Carolina AlleyCats (Champs) and 8-5 to the Carolina Diamondbacks (Runnerup).  For the tournament, the 99 Explosion went 4-2 and we could not have been prouder of how we competed and played throughout the entire tournament!  A special shoutout to Bug Buskey and Devon Weller who played in the Friday game against the Carolina Mojo due to several of our players starting school on Friday, August 7.  Great job girls!  The future is very bright for this special group of players!  We look forward to Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 Seasons!
