Knoxville Explosion '01 traveled to Bradley North Park in Cleveland, TN on Saturday 10/18/14 to compete in the open 14u division ISA tournament. A total of 14 teams had entered and were split into an upper (A) and lower (B) division after each team had completed pool play. Explosion was placed in the upper division and fell into the losers bracket after an opening round loss the Knoxville Storm in the first bracket game. The young first year 14u team battled hard collecting four wins in a row over East TN Knockouts, Crossville Wormburners, Georgia Attitude and Knoxville Storm to set up a championship game against the Chattanooga Dream. Explosion '01 ran out of steam in the early Sunday morning hours of the "1 day" tournament but finished with a 5-2 record earning 2nd place upper division finish out of the 14 teams. Great job ladies!
