Continuing the quest to mold the Knoxville Explosion Players into not only great softball players, but strong leaders in the community, the Knoxville Explosion partnered with some gracious local corporate sponsors for a very special event.  On Saturday, February 15, 2014, former UT Football Player and Motivational Speaker Inky Johnson spoke to the 16u Select and microgaming casinos '99 Knoxville Explosion softball teams at Thunder Baseball/Softball School in Knoxville.  Inky shared his personal story of commitment, sacrifice, honor and legacy with all of the players.  His speech was inspirational, as he shared how he dealt with his own personal circumstances while preparing himself in high school and college.  He also shared how he turned his own personal tragedy into a life's blessing.  Thank you Inky Johnson for sharing your time and story with our young players!  Honor those who have played the game before you and preserve the legacy for those who follow behind.
