At the Knoxville Explosion Fast Pitch Softball Organization, we measure success one player at a time!  In Spring 2013, our players completed the various training programs and 100% of our players made their respective middle and high school teams!

On the field, we set an organization record for wins and tournament championships!  Our teams played teams from 19 states and participated in various large out of state and local competitive tournaments.  Here are some important footnotes for the Explosion Spring 2013 Team statistics:

-          253 Wins

-          92 Losses

-          3 Ties

-          65 total tournaments

-          (27) 1^st Place Finishes, including 10u SEAA World Series, 12u ASA B Tennessee State Championship, 8u TSFA Southern Nationals Championship, 10u and 8u ISA A Tennessee State Championship

-          (20) 2^nd Place Finishes, including 12u USSSA North Florida Gold State Runnerup, 10u and 8u ASA B Tennessee State Runner-up

-          (5) 3^rd Place Finishes

-          (3) 4^th Place Finishes, WTC South Carolina 12u State Tournament

-          (1) 5^th Place Finishes, 12u SEAA World Series

Off the field, our players really outdid theirselves!  Of the 84 players in our organization, we had a total of 59 honor roll students!  Including 8 spelling bee champions, 4H essay winners, school citizenship award winners!

Finally, our girls helped aid the community through our community outreach program by sponsoring Christmas at the Smokey Mountain Children’s Home, participating in the Locks of Love Hair Donation Program and Ministering to the elderly at a local Veteran’s Home.

A special shoutout to all of the players, parents and coaches of the Knoxville Explosion Fast Pitch Softball Organization!  We look forward to 2014 when we will add 4 new teams and bring our organization roster to a total of 11 teams and welcoming 40-45 new members to our softball family!
