Congratulations to the '00 Knoxville Explosion who went 4-0 to capture the ASA McDonalds Classic at Industrial Park in Cleveland, TN.  This tournament was a special tournament for 2 reasons, first and most importantly, it benefited the McDonalds House Charities that provide housing for children and their families during times of serious illness.  Secondly, it was a Tennessee State and National Qualifier for ASA.  The Knoxville Explosion outscored the competition 47-5 enroute to the tournament 12u division championship.  Congratulations to the North Georgia Outrage, they were a class act and a good team!  Nice job Explosion and Outrage!  A special shout out to Marieve Elkins (Marv) who blistered this weekend with a .600 average!  Next up, the North Florida USSSA State Championships in Jacksonville, Florida.  Get ready girls, the competition will be fierce!
