The Knoxville Explosion Organization is seeking a new Head Coach for the 2012 Explosion (Rising 9u) for the fall 2021 season. Due to family commitments, our current head coach, Angela Johnson is stepping down. We wish her all of the best in future family endeavors and are very grateful for her 2 years of volunteer service! If interested, please contact Organization Chief, Joe Birchfield at (865) 363-0728 for an interview. Candidates (Male or Female) must have softball coaching experience and be able to pass a National Center for Safety Initiatives (NCSI) background check and become a Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) certified double-goal coach. These activities will be paid for by the organization. This is a unpaid, volunteer coaching opportunity to help mold and develop the next generation of fastpitch softball players.
