Atomic Boom! Congratulations to the '04 Explosion who finished as the runner-up in the 14u division of the Big Orange Showcase held in Knoxville, TN at Caswell Park from 9//9/17 to 9/10/17. Despite being the youngest team in the tournament, the '04 Explosion showed grit and determination fighting their way through many nail-biters to earn their berth to the championship game against the '03 Maryville Wildcats. The '04 Explosion ran out of gas in a 7-1 championship loss to the Wildcats, but gained valuable experience in their very first showcase event! We are SO PROUD OF THE '04 EXPLOSION for competing against older competition and never giving up! OUTSTANDING WORK LADIES, the force is strong with this team!
