Boom! Congratulations to the '02 Explosion who finished as the ASA 12u Tennessee State Class B Runner-up at Wear Farm Park in Pigeon Forge on 6-15-14. The '02 Explosion lost in the championship game to the Greeneville Marlins 01. The '02 Explosion faced the Marlins in the Winners bracket finals to fall short where they played the Sting 01 with a shot to get to the Championship game. With time expired and down 6-1 to the Sting, Explosion starts a fierce comeback to knot it @ 6 and force extra innings where they would eventually take the victory 8-7. Unfortunately, a 1-1 tie vs the Marlins in the championship game, was halted by Mother Nature and the tourney was cancelled. Great job Marlins and '02 Explosion, we are very proud of your efforts!
