Boom! Congratulations to the '07 Explosion who finished as the ISA Class A 10u World Series Runnerup at in Cleveland, TN on 6-8-18! The '07 Explosion beat the heat and fought through the “A” bracket to become the 10u runner up at the ISA World Series. There were a total of 22 teams in the 10u division.

After going 0-2 in the pool games (losing by 1 run in each), the girls turned it around and went 4-2 in bracket play. They beat some excellent teams such as the Knox Storm, Spirit, GA Lightning and the Frost Falcons but fell short, 5-3, to Fury 08 in the Championship Game. An outstanding effort by all!

Special shout out to Adrianna King who was the 10u Home Run Derby Champion in the pre-tournament activities. Congratulations Adrianna!!

Boom! Congratulations to the 2K5 Explosion who finished as the 12u Runnerup in the USA Tournament in Spartanburg, SC on 6-8-18! The 2K5 Explosion lost to the Carolina Elite 8-6 in a hard fought final. Great job Elite and Explosion, we are very proud of your efforts!

Boom! Congratulations to the Explosion Select who bounced back from a first game bracket loss to run the table and go 7-1 to win the Bringing the Heat USA 18u Division in Telford, TN on 6/25/18. Ariel Holt led the Explosion Select pitching staff with 3 wins, including the 1st championship game and was equally impressive at the plate with 7 extra base hits! Kudos to Maggie Savage and Hailey Byington who also kept the Select's opponents bats in check, both picking up 2 wins each. The Explosion Select won the final 6 games, including 4 back to back including a thrilling last inning comeback win against the East Tennessee Crush to claim the championship. Great job Crush and Explosion, we are very proud of your efforts!

A big shout out to the '02 Explosion who played some outstanding softball 6/25/18 and 6/26/18! What an awesome weekend of softball at the Diamond Classic Summer Showcase in Greenville, SC for the '02 Knoxville Explosion. They outscored our opponents 37-13 and lost a heartbreaker in 9 innings, including 3 international innings to a very talented GA Glory team, 7-6. The '02 Explosion went 4-1 and came alive at the plate against some great competition! Great job ladies! We are very proud of your efforts!

The Explosion 2025 will be moving up to 12U in the Fall after our first year together for the 2017-18 season. We are looking for dedicated parents and players with '07 birthdays so that we can stay together from season to season. Tryouts will be held on Wednesday, July 25th, 6 pm. We will play a light tourney schedule in the Fall during the middle school season and possible league play in the Spring along with tournaments approximately 2 weekends per month from Spring to Fall. Tournaments are played within a 2 hour drive from Knoxville. Boom! Congratulations to the '04 Explosion who traveled to Ringgold, GA won the TSFA State A/B High School division on 6-16-18! After dropping the first pool game of the day, the '04 Explosion ran the table to claim the championship, outstanding effort ladies, we are very proud of your efforts!

Boom! Congratulations to the 2024 Explosion who finished as the 12u Runner-up in the FASA Tournament held in Rockwood on 6/16/18! The Explosion 2024 battled all day in the heat with outstanding Team effort to force the “If” Game and finish 2nd to Crossfire in the FASA 12U bracket in Rockwood, TN. Congratulations to Crossfire and Explosion 2024!
